“…vulnerable, beautiful, haunting and melodic songwriting that has that sense of classical timelessness"

Freddie Mercer is a singer-songwriter from Frome, Somerset. He’s a classically trained musician, whose journey has seen him swing from performing in the Vatican and Westminster Cathedral, to playing gigs across London in venues like Ronnie Scotts, Bush Hall, The Troubadour, L’Escargot, Groucho Club, Hospital Club and The Conduit.

His sound is unique and refined, combining the skills nurtured in his extensive musical education with the influences of his dad’s 60s rock-and-roll records and the contemporary sounds of Radiohead, Sam Fender, Coldplay and Tom Odell. Equally impactful alone with his piano, or supported by his loyal backing-band, Freddie’s music has been described as “…vulnerable, beautiful, haunting and melodic songwriting that has that sense of classical timelessness”.
